With the help of our two math teachers, Yi Xiazi and Li Ying, 53 BCCSC students did very well in the Canadian National Math Competition. Among them, Pan Shuo from Grade 12 who won the Euclid Medal, Zhang Chongyang from Grade 10 who won the Cayley Medal, and Shen Zhengwei from Grade 11 who won the Fermat Medal with 138 points and ranked 61 st among a total of 27000 competitors.

The world-famous Canadian Euclid, Fermat and Cayley Math Competitions are held annually by University of Waterloo . Competitors enter from all over the world. The winners will be given the highest priority when they apply for Canadian universities and scholarships.
