On June 29, 2004, 16 CIS students received their CCNA Networking Basics Certificate granted by the Cisco Systems Networking Academy. This certificate is widely recognized in the world. There are 7 Year 1 students (BI Ran, GU Xuyao, HONG Nan, LI Jianping, PANG Xin, XIAO Bo and YAN Ling) and 9 Year 2 students (CHEN Jiapeng, CUI Yaxu, LIU Chenglin, LIU Lei, SHEN Keyi, WANG Xu, WEI Guodong ZHAO Chao and ZHU Hongzhou) recieving the certificate.
