The 2008 International Summer Camp Opening Ceremony was held on Jun 27, 2008 to welcome students and teachers from New Brunswick, Canada. There were 47 Canadian students and teachers.? BCCSC’s students were happy to welcome their friends to Beijing and part of the program is to welcome the Canadian students into their Chinese homes.

Mr. Andy Truong, executive director gave the opening speech to welcome all the students and teachers on behalf of the Board of Directors. Canadian teachers representative, Canadian students representative also made respective speeches. Chinese home stay family parents representative Ms. Zhang, on behalf of the homestay parents gave a warm speech, and welcomed all the Canadian friends’ arrival.

Mr. Meng Xuejun, executive principal handed over the flags of UNESCO and BCCSC to the student representatives to officially start the camp. Lastly, both leaders of BCCSC and Canada representative exchanged gifts and took group photos.
