As invited by New Brunswick Education Department, 54 BCCSC Grade 10 students and 10 teachers participated in the Canadian Cultural Winter Camp held from Jan. 23 to Feb. 8. Fortunately, Mr. Yuan Guiren, Principal of Beijing Normal University, and Mr. Dai Jiagan, Deputy Principal of Beijing Normal University happened to be visiting Canada, and they joined in some of those winter camp activities.

On their trip across Canada from British Columbia to New Brunswick, BCCSC students and teachers visited tens of universities and high schools. They all were deeply impressed by the high-speed development of post secondary education.
The winter camp also gave an opportunity for students to strengthen their patriotism. " When one is in a foreign country," Most students said, "he tastes the meaning of patriotism better."

| BCCSC students participated the fifth Educational and Cultural winter Camp on the invitation of Department of Education, New Brunswick. During the journey, 6 Chinese reporters from China Daily,China Youth Daily Youth Daily, China Bright Daily, Beijing Evening Nes and Beijing Youth Daily accompanied our group. Our students enjoyed the beautiful nature, understood the Canadian customs & culture, practised the English Language, enhanced the communication skills, and got familiar with the Canadian education during this Winter Camp Visit. Sino-Canada friendships were built during this Winter Camp. |
