Christy was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in English & History at Mount Saint Vincent University. She enjoys traveling, writing, painting and playing the guitar. She is very excited to be in Beijing this year, hopes to see all the city has to offer, and to learn more Mandarin.
