Wayne graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and began teaching in 1976. With thirty years of experience teaching in various communities across the province of Newfoundland & Labrador, he retired in June 2007. Wayne applied for a position with the Concord College of Sino-Canada because of a desire to continue teaching and to find new challenges. He is now looking forward to his 2nd interesting and rewarding year in China.
