On July 9th , 2011, BCCSC held its 14th annual Graduation Ceremony at the Great Hall of the People.More than 1,800 people attended the graduation to witness the graduation of BCCSC and SCCSC students.In attendance, we have officials from the Chinese Ministry of Education, the Beijing Municipal Government, the Canadian Embassy, New Brunswick Business leaders, Department of Education of NB and graduate students' parents.

The Graduation Ceremony was started in the national anthem of China and Canada. Dr. Pang, the chairman of Board of BCCSC, Mr. Jody Carr, Minister of Education, and Mr. Mark McDowell, the head of the Public Diplomacy Section at the Embassy of Canada in Beijing gave a speech separately. The graduate representative and parents' representative also gave a speech. After the speech, the guests issued the special scholarship to the awarded students. BCCSC Alumni Association held the ceremony for announcing the number of the member has exceeded 7000 people. At last, all the guests and school leaders issued the Chinese and Canadian High School Diplomas and scholarships to all the graduates.

There are 292 graduates from BCCSC this year. They applied to 97 foreign universities in 64 subject areas. All students received an offer from universities；The rate reached 100%. At BCCSC, about 172 of graduates were granted scholarships which are about $500-$10000. Liu Yiyi received CA$10000 (US)scholarship. About 22 of graduates were granted scholarship which are more than CA$10000(US) and total scholarship being CA$ 1223400.

BCCSC is the first cooperative school in Beijing, which implements the high school and post-secondary education. The cooperative parties are the Experimental Middle school attached to Beijing Normal University, the Ministry of Education New Brunswick and the RBC International Education Investment Corporation. All of the students are granted the dual registry, and they will have both Chinese and Canadian diplomas if they qualified.

BCCSC aims to cultivate and educate the new generation with internationalized strong abilities who can adapt the various demands in the new century. The school took advanced steps in the curriculum reform in China and achieved excellent education results. In 2003, BCCSC was appointed as the first contact school in China for the curriculum reform. BCCSC took on a sub-project of a national key project of the "Tenth Five-year plan" －Research on the Development of Education Technology during the Information Process. BCCSC's achievements of its four-year research were up to the national leading standards. They have been accepted into the final report of the general project. From January 2008, CCSC started to use the smart board, making network teaching in classroom possible. BCCSC became one of the first eight schools to be reexamined and passed by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China and Foreign Cooperation School Organization in April, 2008 Beijing Municipal Commission of Education authorized BCCSC as the independent school to arrange the new curriculum of ordinary high school and organize the high school graduation examination in 2003.The students not only can learn several creative courses, but they can also get the chance to learn AP courses (Advanced Placement means you can get credits in University. It is a kind of course, not a language exam such as TOEFL. It is held and supervised by foreign College Board.) BCCSC is one of the AP sites among the two in Beijing. There were only 2 AP Exam Site, BCCSC are one of them. We also established the PCP class which was cooperated with Colombia University in America. This can be regarded as a platform for students who want to go to the top 50 Universities in America. In the past 14 years since the foundation, BCCSC has earned an excellent reputation because of its excellent quality in Education. It has become the key model school in China and Canada.

With its new concept, new strategy, and new methods, BCCSC will continue in training new talents for the 21st century.
