On July 4, 2009, BCCSC held its 9th Annual Graduation Ceremony in The Great Hall of the People within The Forbidden City. More than 2000 people attended the graduation In attendance, were officials from The Chinese Ministry of Education, The Beijing Municipal Government, The Canadian Embassy, and The New Brunswick Department of Education.

BCCSC is the first cooperative school in Beijing, which promotes the integration of a bilingual Chinese Canadian high school education and a Canadian or Chinese post-secondary education. The cooperation parties are the Experimental Middle School attached to The Beijing Normal University, The New Brunswick Ministry of Education and the RBC International Education Investment Corporation. All of the students are granted the dual registry, and they receive both Chinese and Canadian diplomas if they qualify.
