BCCSC's Grade 10 students made a special visit to the old Beijing Hutongs as part of the traditional Chinese course. They visited many hutongs in the Houhai area including the Song Qingling's former Residence and Gong Wang’s Former Residence on Oct.17 2008. During the visit, the students gathered materials about this traditional old residence in Beijing by talking with local residents in the hutongs, taking photographs, and shooting videos of the symbolic architecture. After the visit, the students made monographs, models, articles and albums to present the Hutong Culture, Song Qingling's Former Residence and GongWang’s Former Residence in their view. All of their works will be on display in the school exhibition room.
