Summer Camp opening ceremony

On Friday July 30 th , BCCSC held the 5 th annual opening ceremonies of the Canadian-China Summer Camp. During the opening ceremonies, students from various parts of Canada were present. These students immediately experienced the warmth that BCCSC provides for Canadians through the large number of Chinese teachers, students and staff present. These individuals volunteer their summer vacation to aid students of both China and Canada in discovering each others culture and language. Director of Advanced Education Mr. Andy Truong, and Executive Principal Mr. Mung led the ceremonies, recognizing all Canadian students and teachers present for their interest in exposing themselves to China . This was followed by speeches from Canadian teachers and Chinese students, with an exchange of cultural gifts to initiate the one month journey of cultural discovery. Let the fun begin!
