The new school year usually commences on September 1st in China.At the every start of the new school year, BCCSC held a ceremony to raise the national flag and begin the new term.Over 1200 students, including the new grade 10 ones, attended the ceremony with school leaders and new Canadian teachers.

　　“It is the 10th anniversary year since BCCSC's foundation,” Mr. Meng Xuejun, the executive principal said, “It's the honor of all of our students and teachers to witness the meaningful moment.”Vice-principal Colin Childs expressed his ardent expectations to all the three grades.

　　At last but not the least, at the ceremony, about 700 students were praised and presented with 7 different concord awards such as Concord Academic Excellence Top 5 Student Award, and Concord Academic Excellence Award
