The annual teaching seminar was unveiled on Friday, July 16th at 13:30.School leaders attending the seminar were Mr. Wang Benzhong, Mr. Andy Truong, Mr. Meng Xuejun, Madam Xu Mei, Mr. Colin Childs, Mr. Tian Zhengzhou, Madam Liu Wenlian, Mr. Liu Jin, Mr. Jiang Tao, Madam Jin Zhi, Mr. Tao Wei, Mr. Mijihan, and Mr. Wuqi.

　　Madam Xue Mei, our Chief Academic Administrator delivered a speech at first.She restated the theme this seminar －To Deepen the New Curriculum Standards, and Construct BCCSC's Characteristic Curriculum System.She said that the purpose of this seminar was to improve the curriculum system by reviewing the academic work in the past ten years since the foundation of the BCCSC, especially since the implementation of the new curriculum standards.

　　Following the speech was curriculum exhibition.Ms. Liu Yingfen brought with a fragment of a drama play by her students under her direction, which won applauses now and then.Miss Zhang Jiaoli made a report on her compilation, production, effect, and reflection on her electronic text book of Chemistry and Life, which suggested that BCCSC's teachers had improved their skills of preparing course from single courseware production to network production.Mr. Yi Xiaoza introduced BCCSC's experience and remarkable achievements in various Canadian competitions.Vice-principal Tian and Mr. Bryant Eaton made a full introduction on the course of Guidance to Universities.Last but not the least, Grade 10 played a video to show how their comprehensive practice courses were going.From the exhibition and introduction, it is initially shown that our unconventional teaching and studying is of creation and vitality.

　　After the exhibition of different courses, Mr. Tao Wei, our former CPC general secretary of BCCSC made pertinent comments on each of the courses.His inspiring words pushed the seminar to its climax.

　　Principal Wang Benzhong made a summary about the seminar.He fully accepted BCCSC's achievements and experience in the curriculum reform, as well he pointed out some relevant countermeasures and instructive opinions.Finally, he wished a great success to the seminar.
