BCCSC held a grant ceremony to celebrate the 10th anniversary and graduation in the Great Hall of the People on July 28, 2007. More than 2,000 guests who come from the Chinese Ministry of Education, the Beijing Municipal Government, the Canadian Embassy, Hon. Hermengegilde Chiasson, Lieutenant Governor, Government of NB，Madam Babineau，Wife of Lt. Gov and the NB Ministry of Education and so on attended the ceremony.

BCCSC is the first cooperative school in Beijing which implements the high school and post-secondary education. The cooperation parties are the ExperimentalMiddle school attached to BeijingNormalUniversity, the Ministry of Education New Brunswick and the RBC International Education Investment Corporation. All of the students are granted the dual registry, and they will have both Chinese and Canadian diplomas if they were qualified.

This year, there are 361 High School students, of which 355 have been accepted by the Canadian universities and colleges. The acceptance rate is 100% and 83%of students have been granted scholarships by the universities.

Furthermore, this year BCCSC is celebrating its 10th anniversary and Shenzhen CCSC is 5th anniversary. The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra, guided by the Lieutenant Governor of NB, performed during the ceremony for all of the guests and students. Some representatives of previous graduates and retired staff attended this ceremony, too.

“Education should face the modern world, the world and the future.” Guided by that, BCCSC educate our students to be the comprehensive, with world view, internationalized and adaptive the challenges. In the past 10 years, BCCSC achieved great results. In 2003, our school was nominated by the National Ministry of Education as the first connection high school performing the new curriculum reform. In 2005, we successfully finished the research work- the Education Technology Development in the information procedure”, which is the key research program during the national “Tenth Five Years Plan”. In 2006, the International Department was opening. By all of the outstanding achievement, BCCSC has already become the model of cooperation school.

We have reason to believe that BCCSC will have more beautiful future and will definitely become the ideal learning place for students.
