Dear Principal, teachers, parents and graduate students

Good afternoon/evening!

Today ---July, 28, 2007 is a day for us to remember, it is also a great ceremony for the graduating students and their parents to celebrate a special time in life. Being a parent of a new graduated student of Concord College of Sino-Canada, it is hard to describe my excitement.

First, please join me in thanking the teachers and staff of CCSC. Thank you for teaching our children and guiding them to the right direction. Thanks all the teachers for spending your time and efforts for the growth of our children. When they in their decisive moment to mark the milestone and face a brand new world, it is you who provided them with the most impotent assist and guide.Every student and their parents will remember it, thank you!

Congratulations graduates! Congratulate for the gaining of your hard work during the 3 years. Congratulate for the inspiring and succeed you had made. Families also make up another large segment, and from personal experience I know they have supported you and deserve a big thanks.

The three years of high school is just a short period of time, the end of 3years means the completion of secondary education, at the meanwhile, and you also start your life in higher education. Your high school graduation marks more than academic achievement. You’ve spent years dreaming about the freedoms and privileges of adulthood and your education will launch you wherever you want to go or whatever you choose to do. Now, you are about to enter a brand new world. Choosing to study aboard also means choosing a difficult challenge. The path may be tough and unpleasant as you imagine. However, the main task for you is to get every bit of education you can so that you are prepared to compete with the rest of the world, and every effort will be worthy.

Soon, you will be leaving. You are about to receive higher education in developed country and enrich your background of global education and advanced academic structures. Couple of years later, we will see scientists, architectures, CEOs, designers among us.

All of us here today – graduates, parents, teachers, friends and family -- are embarking on one of the most exciting times in our history. These times will test us, but I know we will step up to the challenge.
