On March 2, 2009, SAO dormitory faculty attended a Fire Safety and Prevention training organized by the Health and Safety Committee. Mr. GAO Wencai introduced preventive measures and hazards that cause fire.

Participants practiced different drills to ensure quickest evacuation in case of fire. Dormitory supervisor, Mrs. TIAN Yumin reiterated the importance of eliminating smoking and asked all teachers to focus in this area.
