Mr. Stephen. Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada met the students and teachers of CISB and BCCSC

On December 4th, 2009, Mr. Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada and his delegation visited CISB. Mr. Stephen. Harper’s visiting is a meaningful new page for China. This is the first Prime Minister meeting within 5 years between Canada and China. It improved a lot and made great progress in the aspects of the relationship between China and Canada.

During the visit, Mr. Stephen Harper and his wife made a special trip to CISB and communicated with teachers and students kindly. There were 11 student representatives who attended this activity.

This activity began with Chinese traditional druming and created a lively atmosphere. Mr. Stephen Harper expressed his appreciation to our students and teachers and also invited us to watch the 2010 Winter Olympic Games that will be held in Canada. Students and teachers from our school were mascots for the visit; it was the climax of the whole activity and brought fun to the activity.

At last, Mr. Stephen Harper took a photo with teachers and students as a memory and also accepted access of media. This activity concluded in a bright atmosphere.
