  Graduate's Speaking of Beijing

Dear parents, teachers and fellow students:

Good afternoon! I’m Jasmine from Class one Grade 12. Today I feel really proud to give the speech about what we have experienced during these 3 years at BCCSC on the stage of the Great Hall of the People as the representative of all the graduates. To each graduate: we have learned a lot and even been grown-ups during these 3 years. We still remember the day when we stepped into BCCSC with the misery of leaving our hometown and parents. In these 3 years, we have overcome all the difficulties and obstacles in our way, and mustered our courage to face challenges again and again. When we failed, we never gave up. On the contrary, we have always stood up with our determination to fight against difficulties. When we succeeded, we were never complacent. To the opposition, we warned ourselves that we had to keep working hard to sail smoothly, because each of us was just a tiny boat in a boundless ocean. During the process of self-development, we should be grateful to all the teachers for working hard on educating as well as encouraging students. As adolescents, sometimes we may have a rebellious phase in puberty; sometimes we may be obstinate and wayward. However, teachers were still patient to communicate with us. In this way, they got close to our hearts. Maybe we were sad because of quarrelling with our teachers, or we even misunderstood them when they acted as busybodies. Nevertheless, just as an umbrella in a rainy day, a pack of pills when we got sick, even several words when we failed in exams, teachers became the very persons who deserved all dependence and trust from the students just like our parents. So here, I will say sincerely:“Thank you very much!”

Next, I think parents have given the strongest support to us and be regarded as the harbour in these 3 years even in our whole life. No matter what we have experienced, success or failure, our parents stood behind us to share sorrow and happiness with us. They never required that their efforts should be paid off. They are really selfless. So here, I want to say on behalf of all the students to all the parents:”Thank you, we will keep working hard and never let you down.”

During the 3-year-campus-life, most of us have become the closest friends. Although we cannot see each other very often from now, and we will go somewhere different in pursuit of our dreams, I am fully convinced that our friendship will not be extinguished by our busy study life. I believe that each friend here is bound to be one of your friends for life. So here, I would like to say to each student surrounding me:” Long live friendship!”

Last but not least, I would like to thank BCCSC who has provided us with a higher platform to get far closer to success on behalf of all the graduates. Not only did BCCSC help us to avoid the fate of fighting with a pile of papers and academic work, but helped us boost comphensive quality by giving us more opportunities in creativity and cooperation. Apart from academic education, BCCSC encouraged us to join some organizations like the Student Union and the Students’ Association Union. From the accumulation of work experience, our capability of analyzing issues and coping with problems has been improved greatly. Meanwhile, BCCSC has been aiming at cultivating our realization of teamwork as well as stiff competition, which has already made a big contribution to our future. So here, all of the graduates faithfully wish that BCCSC would go more and more smoothly each year. Hopefully, both BCCSC and all the students will have a brilliant future.

   That’s all. Thank you.
