Dear leaders, guests, teachers , students and parents,

Good afternoon!

I am Zhang Zheng's mother. Today, on the 2010 graduation ceremony of  SCCSC, on behalf of all the parents in this solemn Great Hall, I’m honored to make a speech to say congratulations to the students on their successful completing of high school. I would also like to say sincere thanks to the school faculties, who, for the students’ academic growth, have poured much love, passion, hard work and wisdom into the growth of their students.

Our children, following their own will, and full of excitement, chose SCCSC three years ago. The three-year campus life has witnessed their great changes. They’ve expanded their horizons, challenged their minds, cultivated a wide range of interests, and developed their personalities. Continuously, they’ve improved the ability to think independently and to judge things calmly using new perspectives. They can now face their futures with strength and confidence. SCCSC has equipped them with the knowledge that they need to become a life-long learner.

SCCSC has created an open and inclusive atmosphere, offering a comprehensive platform, for students to have an opportunity to display their talents. This will surely benefit their growth and future development. Especially, for students’ all-round development, SCCSC has also connected students with many community organizations and hold Arts Festivals and Sports Games annually! My son once said to me: "I’m lucky to have the most experienced teachers in SCCSC. I love SCCSC!" When he said this, we were positive that SCCSC was the right choice for us!

My dear boys and girls, going abroad doesn’t mean a flat road full of flowers, instead, it will be filled with unknown hardships and difficulties that will build your character. You are expected to meet these obstacles, appreciate your new environment as much about Canada and her multi-cultures as quickly as possible. So, take hold of your own wonderful futures with hope, with purpose, and with knowledge. We, your parents and teachers, are waiting for your return to hear of your great honors for your alma mater and motherland! We are certain that you will make us proud!
