BCCSC's Individual Guidance Center Setup

To follow the state's call to strengthen our youths' psychology education, foster their persistence and struggling spirit even under arduous conditions, and improve their social adaptability, BCCSC set up its Individual Guidance Center in November 2004.
It is indicated from scientific research that one fifth of juveniles in our country have psychological problems in varying degrees, such as study-weariness, truant, burgling, lying, cheating, selfishness, unruliness, flinch, depression, etc. These problems seriously interfere our young children's development. It becomes a very important and urgent task to conduct psychological education and individual guidance in school.
To make the concept and missions of the psychological guidance clear, our SAO had issued A Letter To Parents, and The Notice About The Setup of Individual Guidance Center. Many parents had written back to congratulate our work on the psychological education.
The two missions of the guidance center are to learn to be adaptable and to seek for development.

The seven principles are:

•  Being open to all the students
             •  Both preventing and developing
             •  Respecting and understanding
