Students Study the Administrative Penalties Law for Public Security

The regulation of the P.R.C on Administrative Penalties for Public Security was recently revised and the draft of the Administrative Penalties Law for Public Security came out. Our SAO has arranged a series of activities to study the new law among our students to publicize the spirit of the law. The main events were

1. All the dormitory moral teachers had a study first on Oct 25th.

The moral teachers downloaded the 14 items of the law from the Internet, and they had a careful reading and discussion one item after the other.

2. The teachers of each floor organized the study among the students. The student leaders of floors and bedrooms are encouraged to explain and publicize the law among their bedroom mates and classmates. In the study, the items which are close to our students were given full attention in the study, such as the penalties on football hooligans, drunkard's vents, black Internet bars, pets that trouble others. With the study, our students get familiar with the Administrative Penalties Law for Public Security, and thus they can try to prevent their violation of the law.

3. Students made billboards to promote the study. With our teachers' instruction, 17 billboards were produced explaining the law. 13 of them were selected as excellent ones. They were displayed in the dining hall. All the students can easily see them and have remarks about them.

Awards were presented to the students who are outstanding in the study of the Administrative Penalties Law for Public Security. They were:

1st Prize Winners: Boys on the 1st and 4th floor of boy's dormitory, girls on the 1st and 4th floor of girl's dormitory, and students on the 1st floor of Building No.1.

2nd Prize Winners: Boys on the 5th floor of the boy's dormitory, and girls on the 5th floor of the girl's dormitory
