Emergency Evacuation Exercise
BCCSC's Emergency Evacuation Exercise was held on Thursday (Oct. 12th) morning.Early at 6:20, the alarm bell rang.In only 4minutes and 30 seconds, all BCCSC's over 1300 teachers and students, including Korean students and Canadian teachers were evacuated orderly from their dormitories.During the evacuation, school fire-fighting crew started fires, and then rehearsed to extinguish them with fire hydrants, fire hoses, fire-fighting lance, and dry powder extinguishing agents.
Due to the recognition of the school leaders, as well as the good preparation, this evacuation exercise had gone very well.To ensure a successful evacuation, the school had organized meetings about the exercise in different groups－leaders, teachers, and students.BCCSC's evacuation drill is an annual practice to improve the students and teachers' ability of reaction when in emergency.
