Grade 12's Visit to Grand View Garden

In order to explore more about Hong Lou Meng ( Dream of the Red Mansions), one of four Great Chinese Classics, Grade 12 students made a trip to the Grand View Garden, where the novel was set on Nov.16 2007. The trip was a part of BCCSC's characteristic Chinese curriculum.

　　During the visit, the students carefully watched the layout and style of the GrandGarden, so as to find out the answers of assignments designed by their teachers. Invited by the leader of the garden, our students attended a nice lecture on the affections among Baoyu, Daiyu, and Baochai, the three main characters in the novel. It is most unforgettable for the kids that during the lecture, they ad-libbed two dramas of 'Baoyu & Daiyu Reading the Book of the Romance of West Chamber' and 'Baochai Catching Butterflies', which were greatly loved by the audience.

　　This exploring trip was organized by Principal Xue Mei, Principal Liu Wenlian,and the director of teaching administrative office Lee Mingchun . Over 320 students including the students from Canada and some teachers and staff went to visit the GrandViewGarden.
