An Outstanding Achievement in Euclid Contest

Euclid Mathematics contest is a state-level international  competition in Canada,  which is named after the famous mathematician Euclid. This contest is held once  a year on the third Tuesday of April by the Canadian National Computer and  Mathematics Education Centre which referred to CEMC. It mainly faces to the  senior students in Grade 11, which contains 10 problems out of 100 points. The  aim is to training the students’ interest in math, and also for the selection  of Canadian Olympic athletes in the future. Now, it becomes more important and  useful for the international students who want to declare the famous  universities in Canada even  apply their scholarships.
In a total of 78 students took part in this Euclid  contest on the date of April 16 in 2008. In an excellent result we have 52  winners accounting for 67% of a total number of participants. The tutors are  Yi-xiazi, Luoxin,Xuhua, Liuyan.
