The University of Winnipeg Attracting CCSC Students

More BCCSC and SCCSC students will be able  to attend The University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada beginning  Septembe, 2008. An agreement was signed  on April 28, by UWinnipeg President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Lloyd Axworthy and  Dr. Francis Pang, Chairman of BCCSC/SCCSC in Winnipeg. The agreement includes the following areas: Students from CCSC attending as undergraduate at UWinnipeg; Exchange of faculty  and/or staff; Joint research activities and publications; Participation in  seminars and academic meetings; Exchange of academic materials and other  information; Special short-term academic programs and interships.

“The agreement signed today with CCSC  builds on an important relationship with China as  we grow our international student body,” said Dr. Axworthy.

In attendance to witness the signing  includes government officials, guests and faculty members of UWinnipeg and  CCSC.
