Peng Jianhua, the chairman of the board of BCCSC, donated a sculpture which is called Auspicious Harmony Royal Seal: and it is now open to the public in Chao Yang Park.

The sculptures which is called Auspicious Harmony Royal Seal donated by Peng Jianhua, the chairman of the board of BCCSC, opened to the public in Chao Yang Park on September 22th, 2009 to commemorate the 60th National Day of our motherland.


Peng Jianhua, Xue Mei, the executive principal, Zheng Jiukang, the Sculptor, along with the leader of Public Outreach of Chao Yang District, the ambassador of the Canadian Embassy, the leader of Chao Yang Park, students and teachers from Canadian International School, 46 reporters and more than 500 people from different parts of society took part in the ceremony.


The Auspicious Harmony Royal Seal is 3.6 meters high and weighs 26 tones. The sculpture is made of bluestone, painted like auspicious clouds and shaped like a imperial jade seal. BCCSC, as the first Sino-foreign joint high school, always insists on international views and regards it as our role to culture new talent for modern socialism. We pay great attention to the moral and traditional values of our teachers. This donation has two significances; one is to show our love and respect to our motherland, and the other one is to give our teachers and students a vivid and meaningful patriotism lesson. Our students and teachers learned a lot from this meaningful commemoration.
