Stop the War Fund-raising Activities

3 Korean students (G12-5 PARK SUNG WOOK "Louis", G12-4 KIM TAE KYUN "Kerr" & LEE DONG JUN "Tyler") sponsored different activities to promote awareness and raise funds for the "Stop the War Coalition" from Dec 13 to 19.

They created posters and short films, sold Korean Fried Rice Cakes and held music concert to raise funds. The concert was a great success and raised over 3000rmb. This awareness campaign shows our students love peace & oppose war with great enthusiasm.

Mr. Andy Truong, Executive Director supports and emphasizes the great importance to the school community encouraging everyone to understand the suffering and lost of lives in wars. He made an opening speech at the concert and personally donated 1000RMB. All departments gave strong support and especially International Department made a plan and arrangement for the fund-raising concert. In addition, great help and participation from the teachers and students.

Total donation from the evening concert is 5140 RMB, double donations from school will based on this amount. All contribution will donate to the "Stop the War Coalition".
