Thompson Rivers University in Canada and Beijing Concord College of Sino-Canada signed a Protocol of Cooperation agreement

The afternoon of November 14, Thompson Rivers University in Canada and Beijing Concord College of Sino-Canada signed a Protocol of Cooperation agreement, which mainly includes the establishment of three scholarships: Thompson Rivers University Entrance Scholarship ($600 given to each CCSC applicant who will be admitted); RHB President Scholarship (will be given to three CCSC students with the highest GPA annually, $2500 per scholarship); and 21st Century Ambassador's Scholarship Endowment Fund ($5000 each by TRU and CCSC will be invested each year towards the foundation , and awarded to students who hold excellent leadership skills & outstanding ability for the 21st century).

  Attendees to the signing of the agreement include: Dr. Roger Barnsley, Interim President and Vice-Chancellor of Thompson Rivers University; Dr. Alan Shaver,  President and Vice-Chancellor; Ms Bai Hua, Director of International Education, Training and Development; Mr. Richard Zhu, China Liaison Coordination; Mr. Kevin Tsui, Managing Director of North China for British Columbia International Trade and Investment Representative Office; Dr. Francis Pang, Chairman of the Board for CCSC; Mr. Wang Benzhong, legal principal; Mr. Charles Pang, Executive Director; Ms. Bonnie Carson, Canadian Principal and Miss Ye Na Wang, University guidance counselor.
