BCCSC attended the UN and the China International Cultural Communication Center Annual Conference.

On Oct 25-28, 2010 with less than 1 week to  the closing of the 2010 Wold Expo in Shanghai, senior United Nations, Chinese  government officials and delegates from around the world gathered in the  Shanghai International Exhibition Center for the UN and CICCC Annual  Conference.  The theme is “Caring for the  Planet, Embracing the Future and Diversifying our Civilization”. Mr. SHA Zukang,  Under Secretary General of United Nations gave the opening speech in strengthening  our understanding of cross culture and promote better assistance to help the  less fortunate.  Mr. LONG Yuxiang,  Chairman of the CICCC followed with a welcoming remarks and thank all the  attendees for the successful and meaningful cultural activities.  The conference ended with a wonderful “Home  of Harmony, Light of Civilization” Artistic Performance and a formal banquet to  celebrate a full year of achievements. On the last day, selected delegates were  invited to visit the World Expo Site.In attendance at the UN-CICCC Annual  Conference along with Dr. Francis Pang, chairman of the board are Mr. Charles  Pang, executive director of the Canadian International School of Beijing and  Mr. Andy Truong, executive director of BCCSC.
