BCCSC students got good mark in Canadian HYPATIA Math Competition

  Canada HYPATIA Math Competition is a national level Math Competition which is named after a famous mathematician. This competition is held by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing for Gr.11 students. The full mark is 40 points. It is significant for students who are going to go abroad to study, because it will help them to apply for a Canadian university.44 Gr.11 students from BCCSC attended this competition on May 9th, 2010. The First Prize’s minimum score is 38, The Second Prize’s minimum score is 34, The Third Prize’s minimum score is 31.There are 32 students got the award, and the award rate is 72%.
