The COP opening ceremony in BCCSC
COP opening ceremony was held on March 22nd. This ceremony was the start of the cooperation between the team that led by Mr. Wang Lu, the professor of Capital Normal University and BCCSC.COP is an important and suitable course in which teachers can develop professional skill. The reason why BCCSC can develop COP Item successfully and become one of its members is the efforts made by all teachers, leaders and supports they gave.
The continuous two-days training came after the opening ceremony. Firstly, Mr. Wang Lu and his team members gave us a meaningful speech about COP. They communicated with the teachers from BCCSC in order to communicate their understanding about COP; they recorded and collected all the relevant information for reference. Secondly, they visited teachers’ classes in order to reflect the concept of COP. They put forward several suggestions about how to modify the teaching scheme when they finished the classes of Miss. Xiong Yan, the Chinese Language teacher and Miss Cheng Yi, the Physics teacher. We can get a conclusion from the two researching classes that teachers from BCCSC can use Smart Board expertly and solve the teaching problems by using Smart Board. Professor Wang Lu analyzed the practice, the teaching method, and the Smart Board Technology at the meeting which make our teachers fully understand their advantageous and disadvantages.
The activities improved the teachers’ skills. The teachers complimented the efforts of their instructors. They all expressed that this kind of discussion and studying were significant and it made all teachers feel confident of doing a better job in the future.
We hope COP can be developed well in BCCSC and more and more teachers from BCCSC can join the team in order to realize the professional skill of teachers and create highly efficient class.
