BCCSC hosted 1st Annual Country Fair

BCCSC welcomed its 1 st annual Country Fair hosted by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce on June 11, 2005. Over 800 guests along with students and staff attended the event. It was a full day of fun activities such as Dragon Boat races, games, live band and performances, foods and great prizes.                          

　　Ms. Cathleen Chang from CCTV 9 started the day with an agenda run down with the Goose and Duck Band to welcome the guests. Both Mr. Fabian Furrer, SwissCham Executive Director and Mr. Andy Truong, BCCSC Executive Director followed with opening remarks and welcoming speeches.

　　There were many highlights which included the Dragon Boat ceremonial race and the Paragliding Demonstration by the Swiss National Paragliding Champion, Mr. Alex Hofer. Mr. Hofer known as the ‘Beijing Flying Man' flew in from the sky and landed on the field with his paragliding.
