G10 “My Poems to Life” Poesy Intonation Contest successfully ended

At 7:00pm October 16, 2005, BCCSC G10 students held “My Poems to Life” fall poesy intonation contest in school amphitheatre. Ms. Xue Mei, Director of Teaching Administrative Office, Ms. Liu Wenlian, Vice Principal, Chairman of Labour Union, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Mr. Colin Childs, Canadian Vice Principal attended the contest. All Chinese course teachers volunteered to be judges for the participants during their lunch break. Although the leaf was falling outside, the contest was full of joy like the awaken of spring. 24 students from G10 classes participated in the contest. Dressed up in casual or formal costumes, contesters enthusiastically praised for life in poems. They smiled and intonated with passion and won unanimous applauses. Judges were deeply impressed by students’ performance. Full of youthful spirity, the contest expressed the passion of life of the 21st century generation. At 8:20pm, the contest successfully rang down the curtain. Ms. Liu Wenlian gave the comments on behalf of the school leaders. She highly praised for participants’ enthusiasm and encouraged them to do better in their future studies. The applauses lasted for a long time, just like the heart of youth, never ends.
