2011 BCCSC Korean Students Summer Camp Report
The BCCSC International Summer Camp which was composed by 30 Korean Students and teachers. They developed the activities of strengthening English and Chinese Culture Study.
Our school paid more attention to the Korean Exchange Students Summer Camp and arranged the International Department to organize the whole activity. These groups of Korean Exchange Students are around 15 years old. They studied Chinese, Canadian English, Seal Cutting, Pottery, Paper-cut, Fan Dance, Tai Chi Sword, Diabolo and other PE activities in BCCSC. The courses and activities those we arranged for students are various and comprehensive. Students can not only know more Chinese and English vocabulary, but also can more Chinese Civilization.
Go out to visit can be considered as a highlight of this summer camp. We set every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and Saturday as the outing day. We applied many places for students, such as, Tian An Men Square, The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven Park, The Summer Palace, The Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Capital Museum, Military Museum, Bird Net, Water Cube, Aquarium, 798 Art District etc. We also lead them to watch Hong Fu show for introducing our Chinese history and brilliant culture. Students also attended the Fun Games in Beijing Happy Valley and BCIS. They skated and swam. All students expressed that they enjoyed this happy summer here. In order to let students comprehend the modern Beijing City, we lead them to Xi Dan, Wang Fu jing Street and Silk Market. They tasted Beijing Duck and many Chinese foods there.
This Summer Camp applied a chance to students from China, Korea and Canada to make friends and know each other well. All students said that they had a wonderful summer here. Beijing and BCCSC impressed themselves on their memories.
This is a unforgettable summer camp.
