BCCSC Module Union attended the 7th Peking University Middle School Students Module Union

2011 PKUNMU opening ceremony was held at Peking University Hall on March   10th. Miss Victoria Sekitoleko, the delegate of United Nations’ agriculture   organization attended the meeting and also gave a speech. Mr. Zhang Xiaoan, the   Vice President of U.N. Association of China gave a speech in the meeting. He   affirmed that the middle school students Module Union played a very important   role in the aspect of popularizing United Nations and cultivating   export-oriented talents.
                             The theme of this meeting was prosperity, order,   and also establishing 11 Committee Such as;? General Assembly Legal Committee   (GA-LEGAL),Commission on the Status of Women (CSW),International Maritime   Organization (IMO),United Nations Conference on Trade and Development ,United   Nations Security Council (UNSC) and others. Students acted as diplomats,   ambassadors and reporters from different countries. They also attended   discussions about Somali pirates, utilizing the outer space and many other hot   topics according to the process of United Nations’ meetings. The topics were   about law, economy, environment, and feminism. All the topics encouraged   students to world peace and improving the healthy development of human beings.
                             With the great support and effort from our leaders and teachers, we received   the qualification of attending the PKUNMUN. Xu Zepeng, Zhang Kejia, Wang   Zhengwei and 3 other students were invited to attend the meeting. They were also   allowed to participate in the discussions of the General Assembly Legal   Committee (GA-LEGAL), Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). Their excellent   performances demonstrated the abilities of BCCSC students
                             PKUNMUN is the most   famous Module Union which was held by Peking University. It was undertaked by   Peking University Model United Nations Association and also supported by Peking   University International Relations Institute. There were more than 90 students   and 800 teachers from 24 provinces of China.
