BCCSC and UNB extended formal partnership
On March 3, 2011, the University of New Brunswick in Canada and BCCSC extended their long standing partnership by signing a formal agreement in Beijing.? At the signing ceremony witnessed by faculty and students are Dr. Eddy Campbell, president and vice chancellor of UNB and Dr. Francis Pang, chairman of BCCSC who signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
Also joining the signing ceremony from UNB are Dr. Weiqiu Yu, Acting Dean of Arts; Mr. David Hinton, Registrar; Mr. Robb Parker, Executive Director of Associated Alumni and Mr. Dominic Blakely, EA. From BCCSC, Mr. Andy Truong, executive director; Mr. Charles Pang, board director; Madam XUE Mei, executive principal along Ms. Bonnie Carson, Canadian principal attended the ceremony as well.
Both institutions started their partnership back in 1997 with many successful students and faculty exchanges. In addition to the MOU, BCCSC graduates will able to apply for direct admission and scholarship program. UNB will able to send interns from BA, BBA, and Bed programs to BCCSC.??
After the signing, Dr. Campbell welcomed the 113 UNB applicants to his university in the Lecture Theatre.
