The 2nd toastmaster competition was held successfully

To improve our  students’ oral English and the development of campus culture, to enrich  students’ life after school, to provide a platform for kids who are interested  in public speaking, and to dig out the potential ability of our students, the  toastmaster competition, which was held by SAO and organized by Students’ Union,  was held successfully on December `19th, 2012. There were several judges  there; they are, Miss Ma Xiaokui, Miss Tian Yumin, Miss Ren Lixia, Miss Lu Lili  and etc.

During the  competition, each of the participants was enthusiastic. They showed their  talents in three parts: self-introduction, presiding imitation, and argument. Self-introduction  is the most wonderful part, where everyone spoke about their best  characteristics. Participants also showed their ability to organize words;  during the argument, our kids used their humorous words and agile reaction to  tell the judges they have the abilities and qualities to be a toastmaster. Their  wonderful performance received the applauses of audiences.

Zhang Manchun  from 10-AP1 received the first Prize, Li Yujie from 10-AP2 received the second  Prize, and Ji Shaoxuan from 10-4 received the third Prize.

This  competition inspired students’ vitality, brought a active campus atmosphere and  also provided students a platform to show themselves and improve themselves.
