Our Module UN. Team went to attend the ILMUNC China 2012

There were 15 students went to attend the ILMUNC China 2012 which was held in Shanghai on March 1st---4th, 2012. This meeting was held by Beijing Weilan International and University of Pennsylvania. This is the first time that the meeting has been introduced to China and it is one of the largest and highest level middle school students' meeting in this world. There were 600 students representatives from almost 50 schools attended this meeting.                            

 Meeting set 7 committees this time

 Commission on the Status of Women(CSW);

 Fourth Committee: Special Political and Decolonization(SPECPOL);

 Sixth Committee: Legal(LC);

 Third Committee: Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural(SOCHUM);

 United Nations Development Programme(UNDP);

 United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Executive Committee(UNHCR);

 United Nations Security Council(UNSC)。

 The students' representatives of our school attended 6 negotiations which were held by 6 committees. Students expressed the points of view of the Countries represented by speeches, discussions, free talks, document compositions, voting etc. The organizers also arranged Global Village, ball and various social activities in order to promote the conference consensus reached and also improve students' ability to communicate with others. We were awarded the Best Organized Prize finally.

 The Module UN. activity Can help students to broaden their horizons and cultivate their sense of cooperation. Our school's Module UN. Team has developed very well these few years. They are going to attend the Harvard China 2012 meeting and Peking University 2012 meeting.
