BCCSC held the Duke of Edinburgh Award filed survival training mobilization meeting

Duke of Edinburgh Award is an international level awards which is named as International Youth Award as well. It is set up in 1956 and recognized by many international organizations and Universities currently. As the first school that joined in this award, many students from BCCSC applied for this award. Students who want to win the award must engage in four aspects of development, namely Community Service, Skills, Physical Fitness and Outdoor Adventure. If students can win this award, they will earn more chances to get the admission from their Universities in dream and can get uncommon opportunities to work in well-known international organizations.
   Grade 10, 11 and 12 students held the knowledge lectures about the field survival training separately on September 23rd, 24th and 25th separately. Mr. Tian Zhenzhou, Mr. Ian Geogre Devlin and Miss Li Hui attended this lecture. The grade level supervisor presided over it. We also invited Manager Zhang of Dongfang Xinsen Expand Training Company to give everyone a professional speech.
      Mr. Tian Zhenzhou delivered his speech about the significance and characteristics of Duke of Edinburgh Award, which means to encourage students to better arrange their high school life and attend charity activities positively. He hoped that this activity could go well.  
   Manager Zhang help students to understand the meaning of field expand training and also introduced the survival skill, training journey and the basic knowledge about how to choose the encampment, how to build the tabernacle, how to identify the directions and how to deal with the wound which is caused by snacks etc. Manager Zhang told many interesting stories among the training and made students understand this kind of life.
   Mr. Tian Zhenzhou introduced the date, time and journey of this time’s training and also invited professional people to help students comprehend the training.
