Round Square activities happening at BCCSC: members of the Leadership Committee visited Hai Dian Rehabilitation Center for Deaf Children

To meet the requirements of BCCSC Round Square Students’ Committee, students from the Leadership Committee visited Hai Dian Rehabilitation Center for Deaf Children to develop communication and service work under the guidance of Miss Wang Yiting. The kids there have problems related to hearing and use the help of hearing aids: basically they have trouble hearing indoors. Although speaking is a challenge for these children we enjoyed our talks with them.
　　To strengthen communication and make this activity smooth and nice, some of our students took over their own instruments, like Chinese Zheng, which stimulated the interests of kids there. Zhuang Chenxi’s playing also received good comments. Under Zhuang Chenxi’s patient teaching, the kids there learned the skill of playing the basic syllable.
　　Each of the members of this committee got a lot from this activity. There time with these students was pleasant and sanguine. The Leadership Committee also set up long-term exchange program with them. We will set some other given dates to have activities with them.
