Beaver Computing Challenge

On November 14, 2014, nineteen BCCSC students joined the Beaver Computing Challenge (BCC). This competition is offered by the University of Waterloo and is designed to get students with little or no previous experience excited about computing. It is a problem solving contest with a focus on computational and logical thinking. There are 4,559 competitors in schools around the world.

Our student YAN Junzhe Justin (from Grade 10 Class AP1), and JIA Tianxuan Jason, JIANG Bowen Steven, LIU Yanyi Michael and LU Hao Damon (from Grade 10 Class AP2) received a Certificate of Distinction with a score of 78, 80, 78, 80 and 78 respectively which are in the top 25 percentile. Congratulations to our students to achieve excellent results in an international computing competition again.
