The opening ceremony of 2014 BCCSC-University of British Empire Science Summer Camp and LINK Student Leadership Summer Camp were held successfully

The opening ceremonies of 2014 BCCSC-University of British Empire Science Summer Camp and LINK Student Leadership Summer Camp were held successfully on July 6th, 2014. The main members are Mr. Tian Zhenzhou,  the Deputy Commander of this summer camp. Asher Ahmed,Michael Kyle and other 4 teachers from University of British Empire, University of Wilfred Laurier, and Mr. Hu Mingbo,the main director of the Science Summer Camp. Teachers from Secretary Department and homeroom teachers were also at the ceremony.

Mr. Tian Zhenzhou delivered his speech for expressing the thanks to teachers. He summarized the planning, built up the sense of security, clarified the target and also stressed on the way of cultivating team spirit, which brought students the basic concept of this Summer Camp. Asher Ahmed, the foreign teacher made a wonderful speech. She put forward her requirements and expectations, encouraged students to build up faith on challenging themselves. As the student representative, Nicole from BCCSC gave her speech. She expressed that she would cherish this uncommon opportunity, and had the faith to make progress among this activity.

To meet the target of cultivating students’ comprehensive capabilities and enriching students’ skills, school held the Science Summer Camp and LINK Student Leadership Summer Camp, which could also help students to broaden their horizons and learn to explore in team work. We believed that all the students and teachers could gain a lot from these Summer Camps .
