The closing ceremony of the BCCSC-Daly College Exchange activity was held successfully

The closing ceremony of the BCCSC-Daly College Exchange activity was held successfully at the Lecture Theatre on June 8th, 2014. There were several people who attended this ceremony, they are, Mr. Tian Zhenzhou, Canadian teachers, students and teachers from Daly College, and grade 10 students’ representatives.

The ceremony started with the pictures and a video show. On behalf of BCCSC, Mr Tian Zhenzhou delivered his speech. He expressed thanks for the cooperation and support of Daly College and members of BCCSC Round Square Committee. He also stressed the significance and key points of this activity. At last, he encouraged our students to be active in the activity of communicating with the world Round Square Committees. Mr. Tian Zhenzhou presented awards and certificates to students from Daly College. Students from BCCSC and Daly prepared wonderful performances; such as, singing, Kong Zhu, Tai Chi etc, which won applause.

Students from Daly College, members of BCCSC Round Square Committee and school leaders gathered together in the conference room on June 3rd to welcome the arriving of Students and teachers from Daly College. This activity has lasted for 7 days. The school prepared several classes, activities, and out-door tours. The students felt the culture of China by attending calligraphy, tea art, pottery, seal cutting, and Tai Chi classes. They also had a better knowledge of our history and geography by visiting Tian An Men square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, and a Beijing Hu Tong.
