The Field Survival Training of Duke Edinburgh Award was held successfully

Duke of Edinburgh Award is an international level awards which is named as International Youth Award as well. It is set up in 1956 and recognized by many international organizations and Universities currently. As the first school that joined in this award, many students from BCCSC applied for this award. Students who want to win the award must engage in four aspects of development, namely Community Service, Skills, Physical Fitness and Outdoor Adventure. According to SAO’s work plan of this semester and the relevant requirements of this award, we choose to hold the filed survival training by cooperating with a professional training system for helping students to apply for the Golden, Silver and Brazen Prize of Edinburgh Award. If students can win this award, they will earn more chances to get the admission from their Universities in dream and can get uncommon opportunities to work in well-known international organizations. Under the leadership of Miss Song Shuyao and Miss Nicole Elizabeth J Leon, our students who registered attended the Field Survival Training which was held in Huai Rou District from June 6st to June 9th, 2014. This activity has lasted for four days, and held by Dongfang Xinsen Expand Training Company. The main content are team building, the training of out door survival skills, picnic, evening campfire camping and etc. Every student performed passionate, careful and active. They united as one and finished their missions perfectly.  Students expressed that they learned a lot from this activity and look forward to attend next time. The Filed Survival was brought to the end successfully.
