The members of the Communist Party of China from BCCSC Brach visited the Anti Japanese War Memorial with Grade 12 students before the Tomb-sweeping Day

To follow the educational activity with the theme of remembering the heroes and serving the motherland, there were 280 students and teachers and members of the Communist Party of China from the BCCSC Branch who visited the Anti-Japanese War Memorial on April 3rd, 2014. All the participants attended the national anthem singing and the silent mourning ceremony. A 90 year old man told his stories about the war to better remember his comrades in arms. Descendants of war generals donated their cultural relics. The student representative performed a poetry recitation. The volunteers from the memorial sang songs, which impressed everyone there.

Mr. Shen Qiang, the curator of the memorial delivered his speech. He expressed that although the 14 years’ war has gone, we need to carry forward the indomitable spirit and keep moving on. Our students sent flowers to the heroes of our country.

Under the leadership of the staff there, we watched the movie of the July 7th Incident and also visited the memorial and Lugou Bridge.
