BCCSC successfully held the first meeting of the 3rd Educational Teaching Seminar
BCCSC successfully held the first meeting of the 3rd Educational Teaching Seminar in Hua Shan Yuan Hotel’s conference room on April 4th. There were several leaders who attended this seminar, they are, Madam Xue Mei, Mr Tian zhenzhou , Mr. Jiang Tao, Mr. Wu Qi, Miss Huang Xiaoling, the director of Beijing Academy Curriculum Centre, Miss Li Mingchun, Miss Ma Xiaokui and all the teachers(English Department Seminar was held at school)
Madam Xue Mei delivered her speech first. Miss Ai Lina, Mr. Zhao Qiang, Miss Wang Yiting, Miss Zheng Xuerui, Mr. Hu Mingbo and Mr. Li Xu presented their classed separately. Their topics were BCCSC Chinese Language electives---Chinese Culture; General Techniques—Pencil vase making; BCCSC Electives---Leadership; Biology Experiment---testing the protein; Electrochemistry : Galvanic cells and AP Statistics
Miss Huang Xiaoling, the director of Beijing Academy Curriculum Centre delivered her report about High School curriculum innovation. She stressed three points, they were, trend, status quo and actions. She explained her points by putting forward four parts; the World Trend, the status quo of China, School’s actions, and Teachers’ responsibilities. Her report stated the contents below in detail; the for new trends of training objectives; the steps of curriculum innovation; what curriculum system is proper for school; how to build a curriculum system; teachers’ teaching mode and class activities.
Miss Huang’s report impressed everyone there, which pushed the seminar to a climax. All the teachers discussed the report and teacher representatives’ classes presentation that afternoon.
