Two Teachers of BCCSC Attended AP Managerial Personnel Training in Kunming

The College Board AP Forum, which is of a national scale, was held in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, on March 12nd and 13rd, 2016. This nationwide scale forum is about AP teacher training and management. Invited by The College Board, Ms Zhounan and Ms FengMeiling attended the AP Managerial Personnel Training at Kunming No.1 High School.

The training introduced AP courses, teaching methods, how to plan for students to attend AP course and AP exams, Chinese students’ registration procedures and some AP program resources provided by The College Board.

Through this training, which is meaningful and useful for our next AP teaching, we gained insight into the syllabus of AP courses; mastered the techniques of raising students’ interests in AP and increased our skills of interacting with students.

BCCSC, authorized as an AP exams centre since 2008, will continually strengthen the contact with The College Board; introduce the advanced teaching ideals of AP courses; absorb the ways of cultivating innovative human resources; established international high level study platform; open the international window; train for an international vision and foster excellent first-class talents in the word.
