Children from Tales Kindergarten Attended Classes of Beijing Concord School

Children from Tales Kindergarten visited BCS in the morning of March 16th—17th. This activity, whose theme is “I want to be a primary student”, assisted the children to prepare for primary school mentally and physically, and also help them to transition from kindergarten to primary school smoothly.  

With the guidance of Director Zhang, the children arrived in a multi-media classroom; listened to the detailed explanations about the life in primary school; experienced the primary school classes; viewed and emulated the primary school students attending lessons (Art, Chinese-western Food, Festivals, Polymer Clay, Canadian English, Jigsaw, Math lessons); visited “Honor Board”, “Star Week”, the playground, basketball courts, the table tennis field, the library and other public facilities.

BCS established the bridge from kindergarten to primary school, which gave the children preliminary understanding of primary school; reduced their anxiety and unfamiliarity about primary school; inspired their wishes of being primary students.
