BCCSC Organized Grade 1 and Grade 4 Students to Visit Beijing Planetarium

BCCSC organized Grade 1 and Grade 4 students to visit Beijing Planetarium, located on the Xinzhimen Outer Road, in Xicheng District, on March 18th, 2016, Beijng Planetarium, which is a national level science museum specializing in natural science, hosted the simulated demonstration of an artificial starry sky and astronomical exhibition to spread astronomical knowledge. The museum is divided into Pavilion A and Pavilion B. “Planet Corridor”, “Zodiac Constellations” and “Foucault Pendulum” in Pavilion A appealed to students; “Spaceport Cockpit” in Pavilion B brought students into a world of the sun. All the students were in high spirits as they enjoyed the fantastic astronomical landscapes and as they communicated with each other.

Through this visit, the students enriched their astronomical knowledge, became more interested in the universe’s mysteries and enhanced their sense of group honor.
