“Preparatory Meeting of 13TH Five-Year Plan” of Beijing Education InstituteThe 4th Education Seminar of BCCSC was held in the Comprehensive Building on April 2nd, 2016. Mr. Francis Pang (Chairman of the Board), Mr. Wang Benzhong (corporate principal), school leaders, all teachers and logistic staff attended the seminar.

The theme of this seminar was “Cultivating Students’ Core Abilities; Building Characteristics of Bilingual Teaching”.

The seminar was hosted by Ms. Ma Xiaokui, the director of the Students’ Administrative Office. Firstly, Mr. Francis Pang (Chairman of the Board) greeted everybody with welcome remarks and emphasized how to further standardize, improve and develop our school’s bilingual curriculum. Mr. Andy Truong, the executive principal, delivered the opening remarks, combined with the research results of students’ core abilities, and how to achieve students’ core abilities. Mr. Truong also discussed the platforms to achieve student’s core abilities, contents of student’s core abilities, and boosting sustainable development of BCCSC’s internationalization, professionalization and individualization. Teaching and research groups presented us wonderful speeches in the third part of the seminar and shared their teaching and education experience.

Teaching and research groups then engaged in panel discussions about how to cultivate students’ core abilities and build characteristics of bilingual teaching. Mr. Wang Benzhong summarized the seminar. With the background of international culture and education in the future, BCCSC will explore and practice the contents of excellent education, and boost the internationalization and scientific approach to teaching and education from the angles of talent cultivating mechanism, curriculum system and education’s environment.

Around "Subject, Curriculum, Class", BCCSC will further standardize, improve and develop our school’s curriculum; clarify the developing direction; summarize the results and experiences of teaching and education during the past 19 years; and discuss how to improve teaching quality and our school’s reputation.
