BCCSC’s Annual 15th Principal’s Banquet was Completed Successfully

BCCSC’s Annual 15th Principal’s Banquet, which was hosted by the representative of students, was held at the staff cafeteria from 19:00 to 21:00 on April 27, 2016. Mr. Zhu Liqun, Vice Sectary-General of the Beijing Education Institute; Mr. Wang Jing, Sectary –General of Beijing TCSOL Research Association; Mr. Douglas Prescott, Principal of Canadian International School; Dr. Francis Pang, Chairman of the board; Andy Truong, Executive Director; Mr. Tian Zhenzhou, Executive Principal and other school leaders, parents, students and teachers, more than 190 people participated in the banquet.

Excellent students were issued awards in the Principal’s Banquet, which started in 2002. The main theme of the 15th Principal’s Banquet is: “Cultivating the Core Element; Improving the Core Competence”. There are 22 awards, including “Progress Awards”, “Dormitory Pacesetter Award”, “Art Awards”, “Round Square Activity” etc.  

Thom Sunega, Canadian Vice-Principal greeted us with the opening remarks and congratulated on students who won awards. 123 students won awards. Zhang Jinshaohua, from Grade3-1 presented an excellent performance to us.

Andy Truong, Executive Director not only presented a congratulation speech but also encouraged students to mutually study, to develop their advantages, and to make efforts for realizing their dreams. The students who won awards took pictures with school leaders, parents, teachers and guests. The banquet ended in a merry atmosphere.
