The Social Activities of Grade 12 Were Successfully Completed

Social Study and Community Service are the two important parts of the Comprehensive Activity, which is the new curriculum of High School. The theme of this subject is: expand students’ study space; enrich their lives; master the basic living skills; improve the students’ ability of “Finding problems; raising questions; analyzing questions and solving the problems”. BCCSC organizes Grade 12 students to participate in social activities every year from March to the middle of May. Homeroom teachers not only arranged these activities, including the detailed time and address, but also strengthen the safety and discipline education during social activities.

Part1. Community Service

Community Service is a kind of compulsory volunteer activity. This year BCCSC organized students to visit ERWO School and FURONG Kindergarten. ERWO School is a special school for disabled children, in which BCCSC’s Grade 12 students played games with disabled children and showed their understanding to the sufferings of the disabled children. In FURONG Kindergarten,   BCCSC’s Grade 12 students taught the young children English, painting and various games. From these activities, our students not only make the young children happy, but also make themselves very happy.

Part2. Social Activity

From social activity, students learn to care about the environment we live in, the progress of society and technology and the Earth. BCCSC organized students to visit HANMEILIN Artist Museum, ZITAN Palace Museum, Beijing Sewage Process Company and other places. Through these visits, students enriched their lives; studied a lot; broadened their horizons; and strengthened their awareness of the importance protect our environment.
